Tour Highlights
Tizi N’tichka Pass
Tizi n'Tichka is a mountain pass in Morocco, linking the south-east of Marrakech to the city of Ouarzazat through the High Atlas mountains. It lies above the great Marrakesh plains, and is a gateway to the Sahara Desert.
Ait Benhaddou
The site of the ksar has been fortified since the 11th century during the Almoravid period. It is considered a great example of Moroccan earthen clay architecture and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987
Todra Gorges
The Todgha Gorges are a series of limestone river canyons, or wadi, in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco, near the town of Tinerhir, where a 300m-deep fault splits the orange limestone into a deep ravine at some points just wide enough for a crystal-clear river and single-file trekkers to squeeze through.
Sahara Desert
It is the world’s largest desert, at once continental in its scale and exquisite in its detail, from a sand sea the size of a small European country to an orange sand dune sculpted to perfection by the wind
Ziz Valley
The Ziz valley is home to hundreds of kasbah’s and ksar which make for an interesting afternoon. A ksar is a group of kasbahs, often fortified and protected by walls. On the way to the Sahara you will encounter the and the Ouled (river) Ziz and the Ziz valley that punctuate the landscape with their brilliant green palms.
